Wanda Cities becomes China's largest Spring Festival temple fairs as Nanchang and Hefei saw foot traffic of more than 1.5 million

During the 2017 Spring Festival, Nanchang and Hefei Wanda Cities held Spring Festival temple fairs, and experienced peak foot traffic. The two Wanda Cities attracted foot traffic of more than 1.5 million persons, making these the largest temple fairs in China. The enormous foot traffic as well as the more than 40 unique skills rich in traditional Chinese culture attracted the attention of China Central Television for five consecutive days, and CCTV's Xinwen Lianbo (daily news program), Live News, Morning News and Economic News and other heavyweight programs covered these events.

Hefei and Nanchang Wanda Parks faithfully restored the most authentic Beijing Spring Festival temple fairs, attracting local consumers. The Parks specially invited dozens of seasoned craftsmen and veteran artistes with "unique skills" from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei to display and perform their talents; more than 40 "intangible cultural heritage" and "unique skills" rich and vivid in Chinese tradition and culture were also on display. Many visited the Spring Festival fair, watched dragon and lion dances, as well as acrobatic and drum performances here. They were also able to personally experience unique skills of folk artisans such as blowing sugar figurines, papercutting, dough sculpture, and the making of snuff bottles. There were also exciting world renowned performances at the Parks including authentic Hua Xian Chinese shadow play, Sichuan face change and Shaolin martial arts.
